SHAPE has two work groups:

Clinical Systems (CS): This workgroup promotes SHAPE Tri-County’s work and agenda by networking with multiple healthcare organizations and clinics.
Communication & Outreach (CO): The C&O work group will create partnerships with core organizations to host community events, including but not limited to health fairs, testing events, education sessions and networking event.
SHAPE -The Sexual health Awareness, (STI) Prevention, & Education Tri-County Initiative
Mission:
To reduce STI's through a forum that provides education, treatment, and prevention resources to residents and health care providers in Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester County.
​Vision:
To empower individuals to make healthy decisions regarding their sexual health for a community free of STI's.
Purpose:
The Sexual Health Awareness, (STI) Prevention, & Education​ Tri-County​ Initiative is a public health collaboration that provides a range of community testing, service resources, and sexual health campaigns to Lowcountry residents, medical professionals, and businesses. ​SHAPE Tri-County​ aims to reduce HIV and STI rates in the region by engaging in coordinated, evidence-based initiatives and fostering a community-level approach to treatment and prevention efforts through two work groups focusing on clinical/surveillance and communications/marketing respectively.
